Hello prospective students and parents!
My name is Ellie Glorioso and I am a Suzuki-registered cello teacher with a Master's Degree in Cello Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy from the Cleveland Institute of Music.
Because of my Suzuki training, I believe that *every* child (and adult) has the potential to learn music and to learn it well. This musical training benefits a person in numerous areas such as memory, focus, coordination, and mood.
I have a passion for teaching and am so excited to work with you and your family!
I teach group classes and private lessons in CIM's Sato Center for Suzuki Studies.
A music exchange in Harare, Zimbabwe that provides music students at local schools with lessons, group class, chamber and large ensemble coachings, and high-level performances.
I teach cello lessons for all ages and ability levels out of my home studio and have been doing so since my years at university for Cello Performance.
I was a Teaching Assistant with the Suzuki Pedagogy department at the Cleveland Institute of Music. My tasks included recording attendance and assignments, facilitating discussion, and recording the lectures.

As a teacher, she's encouraging, energetic, student-centered, and able to engage students in discovering their voice and expressive nature. She's gentle and warm, and still get's fantastic results. She's truly a blessing to our budding cellists.+ Read More
