    B. Mus. Piano Performance M.A. Music History, Theory, and Criticism Are you a parent looking for a fun activity for your child? Maybe your child has been taking lessons but wants to take their playing to the next level and even compete. Or perhaps you took a few lessons growing up but now you want to try out the piano again! Whatever your reason for taking lessons, I'm the teacher for you. I started taking piano lessons at age 5 and continued all the way through graduate school at the Jacobs School of Music. I know from personal experience that sometimes a student wants serious lessons that will push them to perform at an exceptional level; at other times, the student just wants to enjoy making music. Regardless of your age or level of experience, I will make sure your lessons are tailored to meet your goals and that you never lose the love for music that made you look for piano lessons in the first place. I've spent my life making music, and I make sure my students learn the skills to do the same. Offering private piano lessons for piano students and general music classes for students being home-schooled. Each new family receives a no-obligation complimentary meeting and mini-lesson for the student(s).

I know Elizabeth as a colleague, and her work is beyond excellent. She's passionate about teaching and sharing her knowledge with other people as well as helping them to be the best that they can be! And, she's super flexible with scheduling, which is great if you're a Florida snow bird. 5+ stars!

My daughter was initially sad to hear that Elizabeth would not be visiting in-person (thanks coronavirus!), but now that we have moved to remote lessons she has been able to continue her learning and still looks forward to her online lessons every week! The transition was so painless, and Elizabeth helped us along to make sure things went smoothly. Her professionalism is truly unmatched!

We recently switched to online lessons due to the current circumstances, and I have to say that it is working out great! The transition was so easy, and Elizabeth handled everything so we didn’t have to worry at all. Her feedback is always prompt and insightful, and my son has been able to stay motivated and on track with no interruption whatsoever to his learning.
