About Elizabeth S.
Hi there! My name is Elizabeth and I was 9 years old when my grandma taught me how to crochet - and I've been writing patterns and making custom creations ever since. With over 10,000 downloads of my published knitting patterns and a flawless five-star rating I'm sure I can find a solution to what ails your knitting or crocheting! Aside from the fiber arts I love to hike, dirtbike, snowboard, bake, and practice yoga. I'm published author, accomplished musician, and certified crochet and knitting instructor, but most importantly I am a full-time stay at home mom! I also consult part-time as an administrator in civil aviation.

Elizabeth is extremely patient and thorough. She made sure I understood each stitch she taught me. I came to the first class frustrated by trying to be self-taught. By the end of class I was excited about my project again. I look forward to finishing the blanket I’m working on so she can teach me to do another.

Elizabeth is patient and extremely helpful! She is very skilled and teaches in a way that is easy to understand.

Elizabeth is very knowledgeable! She understands patterns. She is patient and I am amazed at how much we covered. I look forward to working with her again!!

After just one lesson I went from being a frustrated knot maker to a happy knitter. Elizabeth offered me simple but incredibly practical guidance that immediately improved my self-taught (terrible) knitting.

Elizabeth was a great teacher, very patient with my 7 year old. Flexible in teaching whatever we were looking for, which was the basics. Sent videos and material suggestions as well. Would recommend.

Elizabeth was very helpful and patient with explaining where I was having problems and how to correct. I will be working on my first scarf now!

Super helpful first lesson! Looking forward to working through my projects with Elizabeth in the future.

It was fun to learn new things and learn to crochet.

I reached out to Elizabeth to help me with an afghan pattern that used a graph instead of written instructions (which I had never done before) and she explained everything super clearly. She even helped me modify the pattern to be exactly how I wanted it. She cleared up some confusion I had on how to work with it and gave me some really helpful tips! Thanks again Elizabeth!

Great first lesson!

I really appreciated her explanations! She taught me how to purl stitch. Very clear and informative!

This was a 2 person class we had set up ( friends wanting to have class together) w/ Elizabeth.
I cant speak enough of how informative Elizabeth was prior to class & during class. Elizabeth is very friendly and easy to talk to, explained each step & stayed at our pace ....very patient & flexible with her schedule.
We had our 2nd lesson and she was even more helpful with our many questions and critiquing our work. Can't wait to finish our project and have a third class.

I needed help starting a project called Winter Pillow using Judy’s Magic Loop. I had viewed many YouTube videos on the subject that were only partially helpful. Elizabeth got me on the right track with the project and provided extra tips to use as worked through the rest of the pillow. She was also very accommodating with scheduling.

Elizabeth is an awesome teacher! Prior to taking the class I spent 4 hours trying to learn how to knit through youtube and could not figure it out. In my first class Elizabeth taught me how to cast on, knit stich, and pearl stitch! I really enjoyed her class and will definitely be taking another one. Thank you! Also, she is great to talk to.

Elizabeth was helpful and patient during our session.

Elizabeth is very easy and pleasant to work with. She is knowledgeable and experienced and I learned so much from my first session with her!

Elizabeth is great!! easily was able to instruct me based on my needs! very sweet and funny

Elizabeth provided clarity and guidance how to read a pattern that did not explain clearly the instructions. She was great!

Elizabeth was very helpful and went above and beyond to modify a pattern I was struggling with to make it something in my skill level. Would definitely have another lesson with her when I need help!

OmG! Elizabeth is very patient, educated and informative teacher. I had so much fun.I am definitely scheduling my next lesson. I am so grateful for your time, Elizabeth!
