Greetings, Thank you for your interest in my tutoring services. My training in tutoring and mentoring students has been through experience in over 5 years. Some subjects that I have worked with students in include Nursing at all levels, Pharmacology, and NCLEX-RN. Lesson plans are built individually and around students academic ability and cater to the demand of their current teachers. My specialty and passion is nursing. I tutor students in the City University of New York system which includes allied health and nursing. Students have been able to make leaps and bounds in understanding concepts and learning how to critically think through any situation no matter how challenging or intense. Preparation for Fundamentals of Nursing and Medical-Surgical topics such as Fluid Balance, Acid-Base, Cardiac, Respiratory, Neurology, Endocrine, GI, GU, Psych, Infection Control, Reproductive System, Cancer, and HIV/Autoimmune Disorders are some of the major content areas that I specialize in. Other preparation and skills set can be learned in regards to reading EKGs and understanding the basics along with phlebotomy skills and other practical nursing tasks. As a Registered Nurse, I also help students prepare for the NCLEX exam and learn critical thinking skills and comprehend subject matter and pharmacology. The nursing process and applying it can be challenging, but guaranteed after one session you will see how much easier and assure of your decisions will be going forward.
