I participated in a student-teacher program under Dr. Melanie Foster Taylor- president of the South Carolina Music Teachers Association. I became an independent piano teacher in August of 2010.

Romp n' Roll- China

Lead instructor of an early childhood development center in China. Classes included gym, art and music instruction. Job duties included, but were not limited to: organizing the class and teaching schedules, organizing class preparation, developing art and music curriculum, maintaining a positive relationship with parents and Chinese staff, and planning outside marketing events.

Naperville Music Academy

Was the lead piano teacher at a music academy with about 150 students. Taught individual and group piano classes as well as group voice classes. Students’ ages ranged from 5 years to 15 years. Designed piano curriculum for the piano department which included instruction in theory, aural skills, and technique.
