I have been teaching for over 8 years. I've worked with ages as young as three up to adults in their 50's. We all learn best when we are engaged and having fun. I'm only interested in teaching you songs, techniques, or exercises that help you achieve your personal goals and play on your interests to strengthen your skills. That means that if you are excited about technically challenging classical literature and want to challenge yourself, I will give you finger strengthening exercises and music theory along with a variety of pieces. If you want to just have fun and be able to play for your friends, let's find your favorite song and make an arrangement of it that you can have fun learning. 

I have experience teaching classical, improvisation, composition, music theory, pop music, and basic jazz. Let's find your favorite and play with it till you can play it beautifully!
