I am an painter, drawer, potter, sculpter, and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator user. In other words, I am simply an artist. But I am also a student and a teacher. I have been creating ever since I could hold a pencil or a paint brush. Having painted and drawn throughout my life, I am now studying Studio Art at a small esteemed liberal arts college called Saint Anselm College. I have been in numerous art exhibitions, having created displayed works primarily using watercolor, mixed media, and oil paints. I have been trained traditionally, having experience with all sorts of medias including but not limited to watercolor, acrylics, oil, gouache, pen and ink, and other traditional medias like charcoal, pencil, and color pencil. Alongside formal training, I have years of self taught experience adding to my background. I specialize in watercolor, acrylic, oil, and mixed media, but am always willing to branch out and learn other techniques. Besides painting, I have taught various other subjects in public schools, grades K-12 for three years. I am also a trained and employed volleyball coach, spending time working with and developing people of all ages. I love working with new people and developing their skills, whatever they may be, into something they can be proud of. My goal is to bring the joy of painting and creating to the lives of others. I look forward to working with you and tailoring a lesson specifically to what you want to do.
