Hello! I love to teach and I have devoted my life to obtaining the highest music education possible. Learning to play an instrument is fun but it is also challenging. My lessons consist of technique and general music training that include aural skills and music theory. My lessons are a lot of fun because I have high standards, but also maintain a light hearted atmosphere. In addition to music, I am also a psychology researcher and have studied and published articles on the latest experimental education practices. So my lessons tend to be very different from a typical music lesson. I teach violin and viola from beginning to advanced levels. My students have ranged in age from 3 to 65 years old and I feel that I can teach students at any age. If you want to include learning to play the violin or viola in your life then I would be a great choice for a teacher. Please chat with me on the phone before your first lesson to make sure that you have what you need and that we get the schedule right for your first lesson. Thank you! I am only two lessons in but I am looking forward to more and more lessons. She is really helping me as an adult learner with very little musical background feel like I am very thoroughly being taught, with warmth and patience.

Elisa is a great violin teacher. I'm proud to be her oldest student on record (I am approaching 75). I started playing just about three years ago all by myself. Then went to Elisa to see if I could make quicker improvements. She patiently corrected a lot of my bad habits and showed me the right way to practice. I was able to make good progress over times. She is fun to be with. Highly recommended for both young and old.

Elisa is an amazing viola teacher! The techniques and practicing methods work like magic, and I've improved so much since I started taking lessons. I highly recommend taking lessons from her!
