Elisa grew up in Austin Texas and started playing piano at the age of 5. She comes from a family of pianists and piano teachers, and played piano throughout high school.
In 2013 she attended University of Rochester, and took piano lessons at the highly acclaimed Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. Sight reading and discovering new music was her passion, and she developed a taste for classical music outside of lessons. She was accepted to Southern Methodist University's Division of Music for Piano. She is the church pianist at Westview United Methodist Church. Elisa is also the keyboardist for SMU’s World Music Ensemble.
Elisa loves helping her students cultivate their passion for music, whatever style it may be. She loves the journey of music discovery, and is excited to share her knowledge of piano with her students!
Our daughter had her first lesson today. Elisa was great. She is very good with children and understood how to present the material in an intteresting way to our 8 year old. I was honestly surprised how little chatter I heard from my daughter during the lesson because she was so engaged!+ Read More
We just had our first lesson with Elisa. She appeared to be really engaged with our 6 year old. And our daughter said she really liked her lesson afterward!
Elisa is just awesome with my 7 year old. I can see that she thoroughly enjoys her lessons and has made good progress very quickly.
