Classical Piano with Elijah F.

I am a professional pianist, singer, composer, producer, and recording artist. I graduated from Oberlin Conservatory with a Bachelors in Music, specifically piano performance. Students can expect to learn how to improvise, play blues and jazz, while still working on technique and sight reading. I teach piano students of all different ages and levels and cater very much towards the students aspirations and goals. I can help students learn the fundamentals of improvisation and sight-reading or expand on more advanced styles of accompaniment and composition. I have performed and toured throughout the United States and internationally and have shared the stage with artists like Moses Sumney, The Punch Brothers, and Branford Marsalis. I have released 3 self released albums which have been played hundreds of thousands of times through online platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Soundcloud. I teach my clients in my comfortable home studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn where I have a piano, Rhodes, and full recording setup. Some of the musical styles I teach include jazz, blues, soul, funk, R&B, and classical.
