I teach piano and guitar to over 25 students in the San Bruno area for ViBo Music school.

Piano/Guitar Teacher

In our lessons we will learn basic tenants of musicianship, how to read music, improvisation and songwriting techniques and exercises, classical, contemporary and jazz piano. Those interested can learn how to effectively sing while playing, as well as how to sightread and hone ear skills.

I graduated from Skidmore College in 2013 with a degree in Creative Writing and English. I have taught piano and guitar for the past year and a half at a music school in San Bruno, as well as for several years at a summer camp in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, where I taught guitar, singing and percussion and even at an orphanage in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I am an experienced journalist, fiction/screenwriter and a poet with a specialty in longform fiction and sports blogging.
