Teaching Locations:

The focus of my teaching strategy is to provide an effective and joyful learning through different tactics and techniques that unlock students' potential. My philosophy is to find the unique approach for each student and infuse the knowledge and skills to work independently. My students are encouraged to discover their power as musicians through the wide range of suggestions and tools that facilitate the creative process. The lesson plan is designed to integrate interconnections between music and other art related disciplines to nurture a versatile personality as well as to make music a passion of life.
Piano lessons are tailored over your needs and desires and corresponding pieces are chosen based on your preferences. However, during our lessons I encourage students to sight-read and introduce them to theory. We compose, harmonize and transpose depending on your goals and necessity.

About Ekaterina K.
Teaching music has been my passion since young age. I believe that the role of a teacher is not only to make one learn a particular subject but rather to foster a well-rounded personality aiming high.
In addition to the strong interest in music and other art related disciplines I am a book lover. I prefer world classic literature from Goethe and Balzac to Dostoevsky and Fitzgerald. I love fairytales, rereading Andersen and Brothers Grimm from time to time.
I am also interested in other cultures especially Indian and Arabic for their richness and the input into the world heritage. The music itself and the process of music making is so different from Western culture.
Travelling is another passion, but given the schedule it is hard to go anywhere more than once a year. Same excuse for not cooking much :), even though I enjoy it.
