Efrem has been a great fit for my goals as an adult rediscovering my long lost piano skills from childhood. He knows music theory and has perfect pitch and enjoys all genres of piano music . He is an expert in classical music. He lets me decide the musical path I want to take which makes for a most pleasant lesson.
5 decades ago my parents mandated I take piano lessons at a time when I was much more focused on baseball, football, ice hockey, etc. In fact, my piano teacher fired me! At long last I returned to the piano to complete the musical journey my parents set me on. I am convinced that if Efrem had been my instructor when I started way back when, the arc of my musical life would have been altered all for the better! His enthusiasm for instruction, his ability to delve into the practical application of music theory, keyboard technique and a coherent lesson plan keep me on track with identifiable goals. Don't miss the opportunity to meet Efrem and experience a lesson or 10 at the piano----it will be well worth your time!
I’ve been training with Efrem for a couple of years. We had in person sessions before the lock downs and switched to online since. Efrem is very knowledgeable and extremely patient. He doesn’t guilt you when you haven’t practiced enough and patiently walks you through what you should know. That has made it very easy for me to not feel that I have to cancel a session for lack of practice. We keep the sessions and take baby steps. And his attitude has helped me keep it consistent. He also has great tips and ideas on how to perform a piece.
