This interview helps me create the perfect lesson plan for the student and helps them improve on their craft as smoothly as possible. I specialize in musical theory and composition and have learned numerous techniques and practice skills since I started at the age of five. Hello all! Welcome to my TakeLessons page! My name is Edward P. and I play piano, trumpet, and a little bit of guitar. I am a private music lessons teacher for ages 5 and older and I teach piano, trumpet, and musical theory. If you want to meet for lessons or have any questions, just message me and I'll answer back in no time. About me Teaches: Beginner to Advanced piano, Beginner to Advanced Trumpet, Beginner music theory. Experience: Taught trumpet, music theory, and marching techniques as a volunteer teacher for The Roots of Music for three years. Started playing piano, trumpet, and guitar at the age of five. Assistant coach for a FURY youth league basketball team for two years. Education: Finished music minor and is going for a bachelor's degree in music at Tulane University. Languages: English (first language), a bit of Spanish. Awards: Received two gold medals for piano and three gold medals for trumpet from the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA). High school band received two gold medals from the New York State School Music Association and played in Carnegie Hall. Musical groups: Award-winning high school concert band, Tulane pep band (Soundwave), Tulane University Marching Band, The Roots of Music.
