¡Hola! I'm a PhD student at UCLA's Spanish and Portuguese Department.  I'm working with folktales related with Jalisco, Mexico's rural regions. I also teach Spanish at the university level, this quarter I'm teaching Spanish 1. I'm a native Spanish speaker and have worked with students from all grade levels.

I'm a native Spanish speaker and I'm very passionate about the Spanish language! Currently I am working on a PhD in Hispanic languages and literatures from the Spanish and Portuguese Department at UCLA. I love to teaching, it's fulfilling to see students acquire such a valuable resource and skill. 

I'm currently teaching Spanish 1 at the university level at UCLA, but I've worked with people from various levels.

I cannot recommend Eduardo enough!
I first booked Eduardo as a tutor through UCLA Spanish department when I was falling behind in my high-school Spanish class, but have since decided to make him my primary Spanish teacher. My comprehension, speaking, writing and reading skills have significantly improved and I am glad I found Eduardo.
He is an incredible teacher and knows how to explain difficult concepts that I never thought I would be able to understand before.

Eduardo is a wonderful teacher! I started lessons with him last year from absolute zero, and recently when I traveled to Mexico I was able to freely converse with my friends and strangers thanks to the lessons with him!
He is very well-educated and makes sure to also teach the cultural aspects of Central and South American countries. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to be able to speak Spanish proficiently within a short period of time.
