Hi, my name is Eddy Shin. I am a guitarist/bassist. I have been playing guitar for almost 16 years and bass for 7 years, and can teach many styles including rock, pop, r&b, blues, jazz, funk, etc. I am available for lessons at your home, at my studio, or online. I've been teaching since 2007 and although I was classically trained as a cellist, I taught myself how to play guitar and bass. Due to this, I am able to show you the nitty gritty of technique, music theory, and how to improve on your own through studying the greats and online resources. As a working professional musician, I can also show you how to succeed in a band setting, playing with other musicians, and how to quickly learn music and improvise on the fly without the need for charts. I can also teach you how to compose inspiring solos on the spot and take your listeners through a journey. I can also provide backing tracks and recordings of our lessons for you to study and remind yourself of what we covered.
