What sets me apart from other ESL teachers is that I'm a polyglot (Spanish, Portuguese, French) and I have taught English abroad. This allows me to have a better understanding of other cultures. I have also had the opportunity to help professionals from different disciplines such as doctors, lawyers, managers, architects, and even other teachers. I have also worked with companies such as Toyota, Motorola, and Brown Forman. I could describe my methodology as adaptive and interactive at the same time. This means that I can customize my lessons according to the individual learning needs of each student.  Furthermore, I like to get creative with the student's interaction process by playing with the energy, changing the focus, changing the stimulus, or altering the form of delivery. I strongly support the theory that learning occurs best in an active rather than a passive environment.

Hi! I'm Ed from Los Angeles, California. I have been teaching ESL for 6 years. I hold an English and Business degree from San Diego State University (SDSU) and I am certified as a TEFL teacher by the American Language Institute (ALI), a division of SDSU . The ALI is a center known for training teachers from around the world in the most modern ESL / EFL teaching techniques and methodologies. I worked for the ALI for a year (ESL/Business English) before starting my journey teaching abroad. Nowadays, I travel the world and teach ESL online. I love interacting with students from different cultures, so it'll be an honor to help you out with your English.
