CAD with Ed C.

I'm a Manufacturing Engineer at a company where we design and manufacture tank cleaning devices. I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a BA in Manufacturing Engineering. I started at my current company as an operator on a CNC mill and gradually worked my way up to being the R&D and Innovation Manager. I wear lots of different hats and am involved in lots of different areas of the business, but my core competency is solid modeling and CAM programming. I'm constantly researching new tooling, tool holding, and work holding technology to help drive costs down and make work easier for our production staff. I'm also constantly re-thinking and re-designing our existing parts to save time, material and cost without sacrificing quality. My free time typically consists of hanging out with my beautiful wife and 14 month (at the time of this writing) old son, along with reading about business, practicing archery and rock climbing (when I'm not injured).
