Guitar with Easton N.

My name is Easton Nguyen, and I am a vocal /piano /guitar/ mandolin instructor. I will earn a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Music Education from East Tennessee State University in May 2020. I've been playing the piano for over 16 years, and I was trained classically for 13 years. I am currently holding an accompanist position at Holston Valley Unitarian Universalist Church in Gray, TN. My current position will end by the end of May 2020 due to my relocation to Boulder Metro Area in Colorado (tentatively). At East Tennessee State University, I participated in two vocal ensembles: BucsWorth and the award-winning ETSU Chorale. Besides my participation in vocal ensembles, I've also accompanied on the piano for ETSU studio vocal classes and University High School Chorus. In Johnson City, I was also a band member of the Tweetsie Trio, active from December 2018 to December 2019. I was the guitarist and the mandolinist in the band, and I was also a back-up vocalist. Tweetsie Trio has performed in various venues throughout Northeast Tennessee including the Tri-Cities Airport and the Johnson City Cardinals Stadium. I am currently based in Johnson City, but not for long! I will be moving to Northern Colorado in May 2020, but I will begin taking students in Boulder and Fort Collins areas. At this time, online lessons will ONLY be provided for students due to many health risks of the Covid-19 pandemic. If any online student wants to consider in-person classes in the long run, please be aware that I will only travel throughout the Boulder and Fort Collins areas.
