As a professional singer and actor, I perform all over the United States. I act and sing on many stages, including: opera houses, theme parks, theaters, convention centers, and film. From opera to pop music, I have pretty much performed it all. My collegiate training is from Samford University, where I received a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre. For two years after college, I lived in NYC and trained with Broadway's best. I just recently relocated to the Nashville area, and cannot wait to train my students with the most up-to-date and current audition techniques, as well as new singing and acting material. As an active performer in the Nashville area, I have strong knowledge of what is required in auditions today. I have an ardent passion to share with my students what my teachers and life experiences have shared with me. My students range from singers that nationally tour, to actors who have landed national commercials, to the beginner who is just starting out! Come as you are and crescendo to your full potential! *** Lesson Details *** The lessons I teach are centered around a laid back, positive, and encouraging atmosphere. I believe that anyone can achieve his or her goals with confidence and belief in themselves. Because of my diverse background and performing experience, my specialties are the musical genres of Broadway, Rock, Pop, Jazz, and Country, all rooted in the Bel Canto style of singing. My acting emphasis is on techniques from Uta Hagen and Konstantin Stanislavski. My lessons are meant to be fun, yet simultaneously instructive. I want my students to be able to leave their cares at the door, and jump into a creative and inspiring atmosphere. Lessons are unique to each individual, and based on his or her goals. Erica is simply amazing! For someone like me that's never taken any acting classes, she's perfect. She makes you feel completely comfortable acting out in front of her.

Erica has an amazing gift for teaching. As someone new to acting, I was a little apprehensive when I first went to the studio. However, she was welcoming, friendly, a good listener, and presented information and feedback in a clear and encouraging way. Taking lessons from her is a blast!
