What is unique about me is my experience at a young age. I have been in several bands of different genres and I play 6 instruments, sing, and produce video/audio. Having a multi faceted teacher is an advantage because not only can I teach your instrument of choice but I can teach the other media aspects of being an artist. I have a home studio where I do my lessons. Subject I teach include instruments, songwriting/ arrangement, Audio or Video production 101, social media management 101, and band 101.I consider myself a one stop shop. I can help anyone from beginners learning their first chord to the garage band looking for advice on how to take the next step and get out of the garage, to an aspiring freelance videographer who wants a head start on their knowledge.. I pride myself in my ability to communicate the information you need to empower your creativity without the process feeling like to much work. Right from the start we will learn some of your favorite songs to learn the techniques needed to take you to the next step in your playing. I am comfortable with beginner up to proficient students. Styles I am familiar with include Rock, Pop,  Blues, Metal, Country, Punk, Hip Hop, R & B as well as several other modern and old school sub genres. Not only can we learn your way around the instrument but I can also teach the theory needed to write a song whether its a pop song or psychedelic rock song. I do not teach sheet music nor do I teach in a formal manor. I teach in a way that is designed to get the information across while keeping things fun, light, and keeping your attention and passion for music.

Hey guys! I'm Dylan and I am excited to help you reach your goals as a musician! I have 10+ years of experience as a multi instrumentalist and songwriter even though im only 21. I am a full time music teacher and songwriter based out of my home in Portland, Oregon. My students will all tell you that our sessions are super fun, no pressure, and very informative. I have done many individual lessons as well as group lessons, and even put together a band of teens! Besides guitar I teach drums, bass, songwriting/arrangement, band 101, social media 101, beginner ukulele, beginner piano, audio production 101, and video production 101.
