    About Dylan G.

I'll teach you whatever you want: whether it's crash course music theory, songwriting, guitar technique or just learning a couple pop songs. You can get the same education I paid $80k for at Berklee but WAY less expensive. I'm a professional songwriter, guitarist, performer and recording artist. I graduated at the top of my class with a B.A. in Professional Music at Berklee College in Boston, MA. My students can expect to steadily improve their technique, theory, chords structure, improv, song list, understand of the language of music, writing abilities, and find music to be fun rather than a chore. We can focus on an intense practice regimen or just learn songs together. No pressure at all, we'll go at whatever pace you'd like to. I've worked with songwriting legends like Paul Simon, co-written with artists who've toured with Justin Beiber, worked with grammy winning producers, toured U.S., self released two albums and I've had a successful career as an independent musician. I can teach you the in's and out's of the business as well, things like: social media for musicians, ad targeting, finding your fans, and a lot more. Specialties: Pop, Indie-folk, Fingerstyle, Improv, Blues, Funk, Jazz, Two Hand Acoustic Tapping, Music Theory, Ear Training, Harmony, Live Performance, Social Media for Musicians, Lead Guitar, Loop Pedal Performing.

Dylan is thorough, detailed, extremely competent and patient. He has a knack for breaking things down and giving you the help where you need it. A thorough knowledge of music theory and understanding and plenty of performance experience. If you're looking for a teacher, you'd be lucky to have him!

Dylan Galvin is an extremely accomplished musician that can bring out your inner patience while practicing your own music. He will work with a musician striving to find their story in their music, giving that balance of todays artistry and also the basics to enable your own creativity. I highly recommend him.

Dylan put me through finger picking boot camp and my technique went through the roof in a short period of time.
