I'll teach you whatever you want: whether it's crash course music theory, songwriting, guitar technique or just learning a couple pop songs. You can get the same education I paid $80k for at Berklee but WAY less expensive. I'm a professional songwriter, guitarist, performer and recording artist. I graduated at the top of my class with a B.A. in Professional Music at Berklee College in Boston, MA.
My students can expect to steadily improve their technique, theory, chords structure, improv, song list, understand of the language of music, writing abilities, and find music to be fun rather than a chore. We can focus on an intense practice regimen or just learn songs together. No pressure at all, we'll go at whatever pace you'd like to.
I've worked with songwriting legends like Paul Simon, co-written with artists who've toured with Justin Beiber, worked with grammy winning producers, toured U.S., self released two albums and I've had a successful career as an independent musician. I can teach you the in's and out's of the business as well, things like: social media for musicians, ad targeting, finding your fans, and a lot more.

As a fairly experienced pianist transitioning to guitar, Dylan was great. He gauged what I knew but still broke down the basics of guitar, helping me get the basics of finger positioning, strumming, and transitions, and tying back to the elements that I knew from my years of playing piano.+ Read More
Absolutely THE best
Dylan is pure talent, fun, eccentric, sane/insane, smart and positive being! He taught my son to play guitar and to compose. Dylan played at my restaurant many times, me and our patrons always loved his innovation and talent!
Dylan is passionate about the importance of lyrics and music that has meaning well beyond just being entertaining. That passion shows in his teaching. We learn by sharing what we know and Dylan has amazing songwriting skills.
Dylan's teaching techniques were very good and helped me to greatly increase my playing ability.
Dylan put me through finger picking boot camp and my technique went through the roof in a short period of time.
I didn't think I would be able to learn guitar but Dylan's expertise and knowledge made it very easy and enjoyable to learn and practice. He made it exciting and I look forward to being to able play out live.
I’ve never considered myself “artistic” or “creative”, but the process he showed me had my song idea come to life!
