I have been playing the violin for 12 years with experience in teaching adults to young children. I have performed in many semi-professional orchestras and competitions such as the Kansas State Orchestra. I have played in many gigs, weddings, and etc. I am currently a member of the First United Methodist Church Orchestra.
Some extra background about me. I am a musician that also has a civil engineering degree! With my experience in music and problem solving in engineering, I am able to incorporate different methods and strategies into lessons that will cater specifically for each student.
My lessons will generally consist of:
*Scales and/or Etudes
*Left hand exercises
*Review and assign homework
My teaching style involves having you choose what kind of music you want to play. I will make lessons that will specifically cater to your goals. With my skills and background, I will make YOU a great violinist! I look forward to seeing you!
