Mr. A. has been teaching private lessons since 1974 and in public schools as a band and choir director since 1987. He is currently available to teach lessons at his Lakeport studio. Mr. A. has helped students improve their tone (wind instruments and voice), gain technical skills, understand and use music theory, and prepare for performance.
Mr. A. received his training at California State University, Sacramento, in 1987 where he received a degree in music education. He also attend the American Band College in Oregon to work toward his Master's degree in conducting. As an expert in his field, Mr. A. looks forward to helping new students achieve their goals. Mr. A.'s teaching style is friendly, honest, and fun.
I teach 6th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade bands, a choir, and a History of Rock and Roll class.
