    I am Collegiate voice instructor, who has had students in Broadway touring musicals, Tony award nominees, members of Opera companies, and local Community Theaters. I can teach both Bel Canto and Commercial Contemporary Music [CCM] as well as Lyric Diction. I speak fluent French and German as well.

    As a Professor of Voice, I can help you prepare for that Audition; get you ready for Grad school, or even the goal of singing in a Broadway show, with my 25-plus years of teaching experience and success in the real world- my students were movie stars in Mexico, singers on Broadway & in national tours, and performed in numerous community theaters, choirs, and opera companies in the USA. I know how to help you succeed! I also coach IPA in French and German.

    A 2019 MCI Outstanding Performance Award Winner for the Salzburg Choral Festival, Dr. Moir's choirs and students have performed in the US, Austria, Hungary, Germany, and Italy. He himself sang for 15 seasons with the San Diego Opera, Roger Wagner Chorale, and Minnesota Chorale. He has worked with Sills, Sutherland, Milnes, Arroyo, and Millo. Dr. Moir's bel canto approach enabled students to have been accepted into Undergraduate and Master’s degree programs at Baldwin-Wallace University, (Ohio) West Virginia University (Morgantown); Lesley University (MA); Lakeland University (WI); Gustavus Adolphus (MN); Union University (TN); other students have held professional positions as interns at Harvard Medical Center (Music Therapy), Elementary School Music teachers, and Church Choir directors.

    A 'stand-alone' ensemble of soloists drawn from the Minnesota Chorale, Minnesota Opera, local college voice teachers, and students, CORO for a decade did unique and challenging programs of Operatic, Musical Theater, and Operetta repertoire in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
