Greetings future learners! I’m excited that you have chosen me to be your teacher for American Sign Language, ESL, ELA, or Reading. Here is a little about me: I began learning sign language when I was eight years old. At the time I did not realize this would be the career that I ended up in. In 1995, I earned an associates degree in deaf studies, In 1998 I earned my bachelors degree in African-American studies and computer graphics, I earned an masters degree in secondary education for students who are deaf or hard of hearing (all degrees earned from Rochester Institute of Technology), I attended Cambridge College. In 2007, I earned my Ed.S. in school administration, I earned a doctoral degree in instructional design for online learning in 2017. I enjoy both teaching and learning from my students. I am a lifelong learner always seeking ways to better engage with students. I look forward to hearing from you soon! Let’s start the learning journey today!
