I have been teaching French horn for 22 years. I have an earned Masters degree in music and enjoy teaching students of all ages. I am happily married with 5 children at home--4 of them are musicians as well (the youngest is 4).. Students will quickly learn not only the basics of music theory, but will be playing songs as early as their first lesson. It is extremely rewarding watching students have fun, excel, and fall in love with making music. I presently teach music at 3 schools (1 college) and only have a few lessons slots available. I look forward to working with you.

About Doyle B.

Hello, my name is Doyle B. and I am eager to help you reach your goals! I've been teaching private lessons since 1992 and have loved helping my students win competitions at the state level, learn how to advance rapidly on their instrument, and fall in love with making music. I have 3 earned degrees from Pensacola Christian College (B.S. in Music Ed., 1992), Hobe Sound Bible College (A.A., 1993) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Church Music, 1996). I have experience teaching all of the band instruments, violin, guitar, and piano. I'm an enthusiastic, upbeat person who greatly enjoys working with people of all ages. I am presently employed at Hobe Sound Bible College and Christian Academy. I presently have students in New Jersey, South Dakota, Florida, and Maryland, who I teach using Skype or FaceTime. Fortunately, I have a couple openings in my schedule to teach any one who is serious about excelling on his/her instrument. I look forward to helping you reach your potential.

Was skeptical about online lessons. A few IT hiccups but they will work out. Instructor seems very knowledgeable and has me excited about getting back into music! Would highly recommend him for all levels of expertise.

Great saxophone instructor! He is encouraging, positive and motivating. I am a middle school student in Jazz and Symphonic Band. This is only my second year playing the saxophone and he has helped me a lot. I highly recommend him!
