I have been performing in the Philadelphia area for nearly 20 years. Trained in various musical styles from classical to jazz, country, and blues, I am also a multi-instrumentalist. I began learning the fundamentals of music in elementary school while studying classical piano as well as playing the trumpet in concert band, marching band, district band, and jazz band. Developing a taste for blues and rock music, I was drawn to the guitar. Starting with a child-sized acoustic guitar, I learned basic sight reading and simple rock and roll riffs. Gradually building on this foundation, I moved on to study lead guitar, songwriting, and improvisation. My first professional quality-guitar was a maple-neck Fender Stratocaster, run into a vintage Fender tube amp. Before graduating high school I was performing in cover bands playing lead guitar, and soon after began my own private teaching enterprise, instructing students of all ages in various styles.
