Doug Brasell (b. 1975) has served in music education as director of bands and supervisor for over 16 years. Seeing the lifelong benefits of educational performance travel in his own students, his desire was to reach and make an impact on many musicians and directors across the U.S. Doug founded All National Music to make an immeasurable difference in the lives of music educators and their student performers through exclusive and invitational performance events across the U.S. Mr. Brasell earned his Master’s degree in Music Education at Troy University and began his route to Ph.D from the University of Florida. In addition, he served as technology consultant to Warner Bros Publications for over five years during the creation and release of the K-12 Expressions music curriculum by Robert W. and Susan Smith. Mr. Brasell has worked with bands across the United States as a teacher, arranger, and designer and most recently as the Event Director for the 2017 and 2018 Gator Bowls as well as the 2019 Liberty Bowl. Doug also selected and arranged performance tours for bands across the U.S. at multiple other national bowl games including the Sugar Bowl, the national televised Chicago Thanksgiving Parade, multiple national concert festivals, and even exclusive performances at Carnegie Hall in New York. His own bands have performed at the Sugar Bowl, Disney World, Universal Studios, and in cities such as Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, St. Louis, Orlando, as well as regional and state festivals in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida where they’ve scored 1st place and Best overall in marching and concert arenas as well as Straight Superiors with All As at state music performance assessment. Mr. Brasell maintains educator licenses in multiple states and membership in the National Association for Music Education and regularly attends the Midwest Clinic in Chicago, and the Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Texas Music Educator’s Association In-service Conventions annually. Doug continues his love for performance routinely playing trumpet and has three children. Home is near the white sandy beaches on the beautiful emerald coat of Navarre, Florida. Boating, fishing, the beach and everything water front are family favorites!

After the first lesson we are very impressed.! We weren't sure what to expect with an online lesson, but we are so glad we went that direction. Doug has sincerely listened to our son's goals and is challenging him to be his best. Doug has an enormous amount of teaching experience and knows exactly how to help our son attain his goals!

Mr. Brasell has taught my daughter for the past two years. In these two years, she has grown as a musician gaining confidence and improving each week. He is a very talented musician with a passion to educate and help students realize their full potential with his enthusiasm, energy, and love of music. I have been very satisfied with his method of instruction, and you will not find a better music educator in the tri-county area.
