Hello! You may call me Miss Dorla, as my students affectionately call me! Just imagine... you are just a few steps away from making music at the piano! Popular songs from your favorite artists are easier to play than you think! Bach, Beethoven and Mozart will be at your fingertips. Worship songs are a lesson away! Let me tell you about myself: I have been teaching piano for more than 30 years. Received my undergraduate degree in Piano Performance at the University of Montemorelos in Mexico and a Master of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy (piano teaching) from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. After six years as Early Childhood Music Coordinator at TCU’s Music Preparatory Division I continue to maintain a full teaching schedule with over 30 students in my private studio, and as adjunct music instructor at Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Texas. I am a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music and enjoy teaching my students how to make beautiful music!
