Knitting is my passion. Creating is a journey with needles and yarn . The possibilities are endless. First we turn on the music and then we talk about the basic theory of the craft. Knitting is a Zen that can change your life . Therapeutically and creatively. Lessons with me are informative, historical and comedic.

Are you creative? Have you walked around town and seen someone wearing a cool hand knit scarf or hat and said “ I wish I could Knit “. You can . It’s a learning process that takes practice, but oh what rewards there are !  If you like music, laughter and want to learn a craft that lasts a lifetime I am the teacher for you . i came to Chicago from New Jersey with some friends and we decided to do this. We are so glad we did! this was a great experience and we were all so happy with the results.

Hello everyone! I’ve done a few knitting lessons but this was by far the best instruction wise. I came with my mom and we had the best time with Donna. She is super friendly and an excellent instructor. She showed us some of her stuff and has great pieces for sale. We bought like 5. I want to keep coming to become an advanced knitter.

I brought my spouse here to do knitting lessons with Donna at her home. I am very picky and critical about these things but Donna’s home was great. She is very friendly and an excellent teacher. She is patient and breaks everything down for you step-by-step. I would definitely suggest this for couples.

I'd highly recommend Donna!  She is eager to teach and adjusts very well to the pace I was comfortable with..she is very patient and easy to talk with!  Donna is a delight- I'm looking forward to working with her again and becoming more proficient..she's got a lot of amazing techniques to teach!
