- Levels Taught:
My initial studio experience began during my education at New England Conservatory, where I began teaching young students in the Boston area. Later, I was able to give master classes, private and group lessons in France and Asia as a member of touring orchestras and currently teach private and group lessons as well as providing master classes for select students in all stringed instruments.
My students have continued their college studies at Music Schools, Conservatories as well as gone on to solo and orchestra performing careers.
I have earned BS and MS degrees.
- Teaches students:
- Ages 3+ and special needs
- Teaching since:
After studying violin, (strings, cello), and piano in Boston, at New England Conservatory with Eric Rosenblith as well as Robert Soetens in France, I have been fortunate to enjoy nearly twenty years of teaching violin and piano students. I have earned a BS and MS degrees.
I believe all my students should enjoy music and lessons so students learn enjoyable music from the first few lessons.
For the younger students I use Music Mind Games training to enhance the lesson experience.
My professional violin experience includes performances with many orchestras including a ten-year member of the Chattanooga Symphony, Chattanooga Opera Orchestra, and the New Art Trio, Charleston Symphony, Savannah Symphony and chamber orchestras and ensembles in the Savannah, Chattanooga and Richmond areas. My experience also includes performances with Richmond Symphony in Richmond, VA, Virginia Symphony in Norfolk, VA, Dover Delaware Symphony as well as performance venues in the Pennsylvania area.
