Teaching Experience and Educational Experience- After studying violin, strings, and piano in Boston, at New England Conservatory with Eric Rosenblith, Master Classes with Dorothy DeLay, chamber music with Leslie Parnas and Burton Fine, as well as other Juilliard teachers and studies with Robert Soetens in France, I have been fortunate to enjoy over eighteen years of teaching violin, strings (beginning cello), and piano students. I am currently teaching in the Peachtree City / Senoia / Tyrone areas. My initial studio experience began during my education at New England Conservatory, where I began teaching young students in the Boston area. Later, I was able to give master classes, private and group lessons in France and Asia as a member of touring orchestras and currently teach private and group lessons as well as providing master classes for select students in all stringed instruments. My students have achieved entrance into summer conservatory programs including Peabody’s Music Summer Camp as well as continuing their college studies at Music Schools, Conservatories, as well as going on to music performing careers. I have been a Kindermusik® instructor in excess of ten years and have been fortunate to have many students continue from the Kindermusik® program into private and group lessons. Professional Violin Performing Experience- Donna Imrisek was a full-time member of the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra, as well as a sub in the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Atlanta Pops. She also has been an active freelance violinist in the Atlanta area as well as a full-time First Violinist, ten-year member of the Chattanooga Symphony, Chattanooga Opera Orchestra, and the New Art Trio. The New Art Trio was fortunate to be selected for a performance on NPR as well as to perform at the National Flute convention in Atlanta, GA. Donna has performed in several orchestras and chamber music organizations, including, Charleston, Savannah, Richmond and the Virginia Symphonies and several chamber orchestras and ensembles. Ms. Imrisek has been fortunate to perform with several touring shows including Chicago, Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma as well as the opera, Amahl and the Night Visitors. She has also toured with the Mantovani Orchestra in the US, Japan, and South Korea.
