Music Theory with Dongryul L.

I have both classical and popular music backgrounds. Based upon these experiences, I can teach classical music composition, orchestration, aural skills, music theory, film music composition, song writing/production (Cubase, Pro-tools, etc.), computer music, and music notation (Finale). Now it is very common to meet students who are motivated by their love of popular music/DAWs/MIDI to study it academically, without having earlier music education and background, and I have a similar experiences and backgrounds and went through all of those hardships. Thus, I can empathize with their perspectives, difficulties, and challenges. I try to help my students learn practically by using diverse teaching methods and materials, and combine theories and practices, which I devised and learned during my undergraduate years as a late-beginner.
