I grew up in the German part of Switzerland, but I've lived in the Bay Area for three years now. 
I have always been fascinated of languages and love to teach them. I started tutoring German to a friend of my sister when I was 15 years old. Ever since I've loved to help somebody learn this language! 
My unique approach to teaching German is far from the basic fundamentals. The key to learning any new language is to start with a personal every day use vocabulary, starting with your hobbies and interests. This is where the spark of learning German will be ignited and then soon become a wildfire of vocabulary!

I grew up in Switzerland, in a small town by the lake of Zurich. I was lucky enough to enjoy studying International Relations at Holy Names University in Oakland. I was on the university's tennis team and team captain for two years.
Now, I work for a non-profit in SF! Besides working, I love spending time outdoors, go to concerts in small venues and spend some quality time with friends.
I was always a fan of languages - not only learning them but also teaching them fascinates me, so I'm super excited to meet you and share some German (& Swiss-German, if wanted) skills with you.
