Dominique Duarte is a classically trained singer from Memphis, TN. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance from Murray State University in Murray, KY. She taught voice lessons and assisted with musicals at St. Georges Independent School and taught music at Lamplighter Montessori in TN. Ms. Duarte actively performed in the Memphis area with Opera Memphis, Playhouse on the Square, Theatre Memphis, Hattiloo Theatre, and the Memphis Symphony Chorus. She attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC and recently performed in Ragtime the Musical at Midtown Arts Center in Colorado.

Dominique was a voice student in my studio for several months. She is a very bright, talented young lady with great vocal energy. Dominique has a lovely soprano voice. She always came well prepared for lessons, is open to change and eager to learn. Dominique is committed to being the best that she can be. I highly recommend her as a singer, teacher, and singing coach. She will be missed on the Memphis, TN stage. We all wish her success in NYC!!

Dominique Duarte is an outstanding individual who sings like the most beautiful of birds and can coach both choral groups and individuals with the champions. She is a thorough planner of lessons and rehearsals, she demonstrates strong classroom management skills, and above all, she is trustworthy. She is a jewel in one-on-one sessions because she is kind yet firm with students, encouraging them towards excellence while giving them a safe place to make mistakes and grow in confidence and technical ability.
