As a teacher I believe it is essential to listen to the student and find out what they understand and communicate accordingly. Algerbra can be fun and exciting only if right communication is established between the student and the teacher. The teacher should also keep in mind what the common goal is - better grades, better understanding, groundwork for learning Math in higher grades.
