Hello fellow language enthusiasts!

My name is Divine Awala, a Texas girl with a passion for languages especially my native language English. And so I have decided to share my knowledge of English by becoming a certified ESL teacher. Now over a year later I am living abroad and teaching in South Korea. I currently teach in a classroom setting, small groups, and individuals one on one. Along the way, I have developed many strategies to tackle the challenges that come along with learning a second language. There are many tips and tricks I have picked up that will help you in learning how to improve your language skills.
Key skills I believe have made successful as an English teacher, the ability to ask the right questions that will stimulate learners, listening to students so I understand their position, and giving the right feedback and motivation, I feel that it is my duty to give honest and constructive feedback as well as helping students work through their challenges with encouragement so they will want to keep learning. No matter if you're level or if you just want to chat I look forward to being apart of your journey!
