You will never regret having voice lessons with a true professional. I've performed and taught across the US, Europe, and Australia. As a singer/stage director I've produced over fifty cabaret shows, musicals and operas. As a recording artist, I've released the CDs: "Music in Flight," endorsed by Doctors Without Borders and "Rosas de Pulpa," a digital album of Argentine music, which was recently nominated Classical Album of the Year by "Just Plain Folks." With years of university and community teaching experience, I am a member of National Association of Teachers of Singing, a vetting organization for teachers, which provides competition platforms for young singers. I have been awarded grants by the Alabama Council for the Arts and the Lowder Foundation. Though still an active performer in jazz and other genres, I love teaching and am committed to offering my students what music can do for our world. I am Diane M. and a Google search of my name will connect you to tracks, videos and much more history about my varied and wonderful life in the Arts! NOTE: There are performance opportunities available through study in my private studio. Ask me about them!+ Read More

My daughter said she felt very comfortable with Mrs. Diane and she can't wait for her next lesson.
It is a pleasure to provide a recommendation for Diane McNaron and her studio. My daughter has been taking private lessons for more than three years and we have been exceptionally pleased with the results. Ms. McNaron’s extensive background and experience in a wide variety of musical genres allows her to customize lessons around the student’s vocal strengths and interests rather than force a cookie cutter approach. Ms. McNaron has nurtured her talent in a positive, professional manner and I highly recommend her for those looking to improve, learn, or simply polish their current vocal skill set. You will not be disappointed.+ Read More
I have been taking lessons with Diane for four years now. She is an excellent instructor. I truly enjoy her lessons and the recitals at the end of the semesters. These lessons with Diane has given me confidence and I look forward to continuing them.
I’ve spoken with many of my friends about my journey with voice lessons. Going to lessons with Diane felt like therapy. I learned so much and sounded so different within the 1st month. She broke down barriers with my voice that my 1st two teachers hadn’t done. She helped me find my voice, I miss those lessons everyday.+ Read More
For years, #1 on my bucket list was: “take vocal lessons.” I had sung all of my life but had never been “trained.” I found Diane McNaron’s ad stating that she teaches private voice lessons to all ages. I checked her bio and was blown away by her qualifications! I thought that she would never accept anyone with zero training as a student and put that ad in my wallet where it stayed for two years. I finally got the nerve to call, and to my surprise, she accepted me. I’ve been her student now for five years, and she brought me out of my comfort zone teaching me music and methods that have made a tremendous difference in my singing! I found my mix and gained an octave that I had been unable to reach before. I now sing songs that I never thought possible. With her help, during the last year, I won a national title singing as my talent number, one of the songs on which she worked with me It is never too late to start anew! I am 76 years old and believe I sing better than ever! Thank you Diane for changing and enriching my life!+ Read More
I am constantly amazed at the professionalism and depth of skill in teaching Diane McNaron conveys. My daughter, college aged, studies with Diane and I see and hear the incredible progress she has made. Diane teaches technique, knows styles from popular to classical, from jazz to Broadway and can demonstrate them! She even plays piano rather well and helps my daughter understand how music works. I love the way she works on interpretation and draws such depth and expressive from her students whom I've heard perform in workshops and on recitals. She gets results and is kind and caring while doing it!+ Read More
