I am a director, actor, producer and playwright who founded my own company 21 years ago. I have personally directed over 65 plays by Shakespeare, Moliere, Stoppard, Shaw and others, and have produced over 95. I LOVE theater! It's everything that I think is great about the world - sharing stories to learn from, exposing our own vulnerabilities in order to invite others to do the same, and thereby creating community through mutual inspiration and enthusiasm. I can work with young actors, mature actors, teachers or even directors to better understand Shakespeare's texts or any plays or literature. I have inspired hundreds of kids and adults to love and crave the stories that classical authors have left us as a legacy. These provide endless learning opportunities where we can learn about ourselves and human nature, and I am here to help you discover the paths to those opportunities. I get really excited about sharing what I know with students and seeing their eyes light up with brilliant aha moments! It never fails to make me happy. Working with me is a joyous experience! Whether you are getting ready for an audition, working on a part in a play or film, or even just trying to get through a play for a class, I am here to help. I have coached many young actors for auditions and college entrance to theater conservatories. My former students have gone to Yale, Harvard, Vassar, Bard and BU Theatre Conservatory, to name just a few. They are working in theaters and classrooms across the country, and they all cite their experiences with my company as being excellent foundational work for everything they've gone on to do. I look forward to meeting you online or in some rehearsal space that works for us both (after the virus quarantine is long gone, of course).

Diana is a skilled and knowledgeable acting teacher. She helped my shy son find his voice and become the confident young man he is today. Personally, Diana helped me as an adult to overcome stage fright. Once I told Diana of my issue, she encouraged me to join one of her productions, and she nurtured me through the whole experience. Her skillful techniques and her caring, nurturing nature is a perfect combination for an amazing acting coach.

My daughter has worked with Diana in CST for 8 years. It is truly remarkable what she does for these kids, and what she gets out of them. By providing a safe space where they can learn, question, and have fun with the material, they become comfortable performing, and sharing their gifts with the public. Not only that, but they are learning Shakespeare, which has huge effect on their understanding of literature and global history. Diana makes all this FUN for the kids. They are there because they want to be, and from the youngest to the oldest they put their all into their performances while always supporting each other.

Diana’s teaching style must be a lot of fun, because my son has been studying acting with her for more than 3 years! He is always looking forward to the next learning / practice session!
