I am a passionate cellist and instructor who loves working with students of all ages and abilities and helping them discover a love for music as well. I graduated in May 2014 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education with a string emphasis, and a Master's degree in Cello Performance in May 2016. My teachers include Jenna Dalbey of the Tetra String Quartet, Thomas Landschoot of the Sonoran Chamber Music Series, and Jonathan Ruck of the Brightmusic Chamber Ensemble. I have been playing cello for 14 years and during that time I accompanied a choir during a high school festival, performed with the ASU Symphony, performed two solo cello recitals in college and had quartet coaching with the St. Lawarence String Quartet and Julliard Quartet. In addition to my cello experience, I also have been playing violin for 7 years and viola for 3.+ Read More
I have a private lesson studio of both violin and cello students. I work on technique, reading music, and audition prep, to name a few.
Great teacher. She knows what she's saying and is very patient.
Michele is a wonderful teacher. I was worried about my preteen daughter because she is so shy but Michele is so much fun. She gently encourages, is full of smiles and praise and she brings out the little musician in my child. I'm not sure if best instructor is fair since it is our first time with private lessons but I it would be really hard to beat this one and we don't intend to try.+ Read More
