I hold a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Drake University and have taught music to groups and individuals since 2008. I'm a trumpet player with special experience in the marching arts and jazz improvisation, and I've spent the last 4 years as a performing member of the United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps. As an instructor, I enjoy working with students of all ages and experience levels.
In the realm of health and fitness, I hold certifications in movement correctives, kettlebell training, and tactical strength and conditioning, as well as a Personal Trainer certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. I have experience working with groups and individuals of all experience and age levels, from highly-trained Marines to weekend warriors and soccer moms.
