    About Derek D.

    I am a professional multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter, producer and audio engineer with over 20 years of experience in the music industry. I've been teaching for a number of instruments for the last 15 years, in both private and classroom settings. Currently, I work as a session and touring musician, working and sharing stages with several grammy award winning and multi-platinum selling artists, including Jon Bellion, Beyonce, Andre 3000, Twenty One Pilots, One Republic, and many more. Furthermore, I work as a producer and audio engineer, producing artists on an independent and major label level. Songs I've produced and written have been featured on a number of television shows (ABC, VH1, MTV, Discovery), feature films and video games. Some of the musical styles I teach are: Pop, Rock, Metal, Punk, Blues, R&B, Country, Folk, and Jazz.
