Dennis specializes in teaching beginners or people coming back to drumming after a hiatus. He focuses on basic music reading skills, rudiments (the drummers alphabet) and drumset coordination. Everything about Dennis's lessons is taught in a musical way and his goal is to have his students playing along with recordings or other musicians quickly. Dennis seeks to inspire his students and tailors each lesson to fit each student in the moment. 

Dennis is articulate, patient, encouraging and positive. If you are a beginner interested in learning to play the drums, book your first lesson today. You will love it.

Dennis has been teaching private lessons since 2001 and is currently available to teach lessons at your home, in his studio, and online. Dennis has helped students develop coordination, learn to read music, increase hand speed/technique and experience the joys of making music. 

Dennis received his training at the University of Pittsburgh in 2004 where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music. As an expert in his field, Dennis looks forward to helping new students achieve their goals. Dennis's teaching style is musical, upbeat, and positive.
