Classical Piano with Denise D.

I have had a passion for music since I was 6 years old and started playing the accordion – which was almost bigger than I was! In sixth grade, I started studying clarinet, and in eighth grade I started studying classical piano. I only wanted to play piano so I could play duets with my best friend, but piano turned into the one music passion that stayed with me. In tenth grade, wanting very badly to play in the school musical, I started playing alto saxophone because that was the only position open for the musical. That resulted in a love for jazz, which led to my college degree of Bachelors of Music Education, majoring in jazz saxophone with a minor in piano. Although twists of fate led me to a career in Information Technology, I taught piano private lessons and played keyboard and piano for various churches around the country in my spare time. Now retired, I am again looking to help others learn the passion for music that has always been with me.
