Hello, I'm Demi VanderWerff, and I would like to give you an idea of my background in music and singing. I have my Bachelors of Music with a concentration in Vocal Studies from Jacksonville State University. I constantly strive to gain as much knowledge as possible to help my kids. Currently I'm on track to pursue a Masters in Vocal Performance and engaged this summer as a Teaching Fellow in Kiefersfelden, Germany with the International Performing Arts Institute. I've been performing in opera, musical theater, and jazz since I was a child and I have a passion for translating my stage experience into teaching. My students are instilled with the importance of stage craft and presentation as well as maintaining a healthy technique. My spirit is fun-loving and I like to make sure every lesson is full of joy. Singing is about YOUR MIND! Therefore, it's a priority of mine to help my students develop true confidence, which translates into performing AND life. Anybody can sing, so long as your mind is in the right place! I look forward to guiding you on this journey to spreading joy!
