I, Ms. Demetria K., attended Fayetteville State University, where I majored in Music with a concentration in piano. My motto is, “To enlighten nearby communities, through the arts of the piano, one finger at a time.” One of my ultimate goals is to own a music school and studio one day. My favorite color is purple and my favorite type of food is Mexican food. In my spare time, I love writing music, and playing the piano. I have been playing the piano for 19 wonderful years. I believe that in order to mature properly and be productive in life, you have to take a stand in what you believe in; knowing sometimes you might have to stand alone; but the end result is priceless. The question is to you...are you ready to play? *** Lesson Details *** If I had to describe my style of teaching using only three words, it would be: fun, enthusiastic, and creative. I believe learning environments should feel safe, look fun and be appealing to the eye. I love to use "Bastien Piano Basics", and any other literature that I find is useful in my curriculum.
