I am a linguist, an art director, a marketing & communication strategist and a creative thinker, but most of all a hard-working, multi-talented and passionate dreamer. I have taught French as a Second Language in France, Ireland, New Zealand and South Korea. My experience in teaching French abroad to students of all levels (beginners, intermediate and advanced) has led me to being in charge for the past 2 years of training all new interns in a leading creative agency here in New York. I have a Dual Bachelor's Degree in English & Korean for Foreign Affairs with an additional specialization in Teaching French as a Second Language from the University of La Rochelle (France), a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising & Graphic Design from the NYIT (US), and a Masters Degree in Communication Arts specializing in Digital Marketing from EFAP (School of New Communication Arts, France). I also have a Certificate in Fashion Business from the Lyon Fashion University (France). Additionally, I won an Professional Advertising Excellence Award during my senior year at NYIT and I had the honor of being selected to join the National Society of Leadership and Success. I am currently the Senior Art Director of an acclaimed luxury creative agency. I have had the chance to work with amazing clients such as L'Oréal USA, Neiman Marcus, Akola Jewelry and LVLXIII x Jason Derulo to name a few. I truly believe the best way to learn is to find 1. Meaning and 2. Passion. 1. Why am I learning this? How am I going to use this knowledge? I find it important to work with my students based on their goals, whether it be passing an exam, learning the basics, perfecting existing skills or reaching the proficiency level needed to just get around in another country or a succeed in their career. 2. What helped me and my students was finding something fun or something we could relate to and feel passionate about. When I teach I like to find often unlikely/uncommon comparisons, tools and materials to help my students understand and memorize what they need to know in the most effective manner.
