I was Born May 2, 1985 to a musical family and began playing piano at age 5 at the behest of my mother, a Church organist, harpsichordist, and choir director. Then I heard the call of the drums right around 13 and never looked back. I took lessons all through High School and then went to the University of North Texas for Jazz drumming, and then later finished school at TX State University in San Marcos. I've been playing professionally now for 9 years all over the United States, in different outfits: most notably Austin country band Sons of Fathers from 2011-2014 and now an indie rock band called Blue Healer.
